Black Cough Illness | Potentially Fatal | Treatable | Contagious | Common
Can develop from a common cold and mostly seen in newborns, children, elderly, and those with poor immune systems. Similar to pneumonia, the infected lungs fill with pus and fluid, making it difficult to breathe. Cure includes rest and medicine, but for young children, once black cough has developed, it is highly lethal.

Frozen Plague Magical Illness | Fatal | Not Treatable | Contagious | Rare
Believed to be eradicated, the Frozen Plague ravaged the southern continents, reaching even Manthir and Taknier. Info Pending.

Scalding Condition | Potentially Fatal | Not Treatable | Not Contagious | Rare
An irreversible condition caused by the mother’s overuse of Inner Fire while pregnant. Symptoms include pale eyes with sensitivity to light or blindness, and sometimes a weakened immune system. In extreme instances, children are stillborn. Those who live with the condition are called 'Scalded.' Only found in those with Taknieri mothers.
