Physical Description: Ezra isn't a particularly tall man, standing only at 5'9". He has a slender frame with a good hint of muscle definition that's often hidden under his baggier clothing. He has dark brown, almost black hair that he prefers keeping longer, normally to just above his shoulders. He also has dark brown, almost black eyes that can appear more amber in the sunlight. He has a fair amount of scattered scars from various moments in his life. Things as simple as falling into a bramble bush as a child to being stabbed through the chest as an adult.

Combat Experience: Like most Taknieri children Ezra grew up with a sword in his hand. From the moment he started his schooling he was taught to fight as well. Ezra however took a particular interest in it. He loved fighting, loved sparing with his classmates and his brothers. He would spend hours practicing until he mastered both the Lava and Lightening techniques. Though with his more aggressive tendencies he leaned more on his Lava fighting tactics.
Magic: Like other Taknier Ezra is able to control and regulate the temperature of his body to heat and cool as he needs. He's practiced enough with the gift to control where different aspects of his body adjust in temperature as opposed to just his whole being. However given his more passionate and fiery nature he can lose control and is often known to make himself overheat.
Personality:
Ezra is a passionate and fiery man. He works hard, plays hard, and loves harder. When he first meets someone he might come off as quiet or reclusive but it doesn't take long for him to open up more. There's a certain charm about him that can either make him impossible to hate or impossibly frustrating. Depending on how you look at it. While he's known for being a bit scatterbrained his mind seems to be a steel trap when it comes to his work. He knows when to be calm and serious as much as he knows when to be sarcastic and playful.
While Ezra can come off as rather flirtatious that's just him being kind or polite. In reality, when the man actually tries to flirt he has no idea what to say or do. He has a tendency to speak a lot through his facial expressions. Which usually have a tendency to give away how he feels, even if he's not saying it. Over all though Ezra is fiercely loyal to those he cares about. Willing to take the fall and lay down his life, or take one, for anyone he loves. This has presented a problem in the past for those that want to use him. As Ezra's unwavering loyalty has given far too many other people have used his willingness to help against him.
History:
Ezra was the eldest son born to a rather poor farming family. What they lacked in money though they made up for in love and warmth. Ezra had a very happy childhood all things considered. He loved his siblings, his parents were very supportive, he had a good education, and many friends. His parents never let the hardships they faced leak into the lives of their children so for many years Ezra and his siblings were blissfully unaware of just how hard things actually were. They all worked the farm as well as did schooling but the one thing Ezra was most interested in was fighting.
Like all Taknieri citizens he learned to handle a sword as soon as he started his schooling. While he wasn't good with reading or mathematics he quickly learned his way around a fighting ring. Though his fiery nature did trip him up from time to time he was always a quick learner. When he was seventeen he made the decision to join the Imperial Army of Taknier. Being a soldier was in his blood, he just knew it was. But in joining the military Ezra became privy to some things with their government he hadn't known before.
While Ezra would have never said he loved Taknier as much as some of his other countrymen he never thought negatively of it either. But after the death of the first Prince things seemed to only go downhill more. The Emperor had lost his mind, or perhaps he never had it in the first place. It didn't seem to be the grief over losing a child that drove him mad. There were a group of upstarts Ezra wound up joining with some of his friends. Most of them just had questions and concerns for how their government was being run. Though he wasn't aware until it was too late, the group was planning a coup against the Emperor. They claimed him as a sort of false god and wanted to bring him down. His bestfriend, a man he'd been in love with for four years, had been at the head of this coup. When the Emperor found out about their group he gathered up everyone he could track to it, including Ezra.
When their treason against the empire was brought up Ezra took the fall for it. Claiming that it was all his idea. That he'd used his rank and threatened the others into helping him. He said how much he hated the Emperor and what he was doing to their country. For his treason Ezra was exiled and sworn to silence. Never allowed to see his family or friends ever again. Or even speak about them. He was stripped of everything.
His rank, his title, his family, his name. Unlike many other Exiles Ezra did not take on the last name Valier as he wanted to sever all connection to the empire that he could.
