Combat Experience:
Decent with a sword but could easily be overpowered. He was forced to train but never really managed any impress prowess. Given the circumstances of his father's death he prefers not hold a sword if he can help it and travels with gaurds hand picked for their'specialty' and is particularly cautious when on the road.
Education: Severin is a jack of all trades in that he was well tutored and has read more books than most nobles even see in their lifetime. Severin spent some time studying in takinier but it was cut short by familly matters. he has personally surveyed many of the artisans which call the south home. Though he isn't foolish enough to think knowledge can replace practice or talent. He has a keen eye for hidden gems key to a mercantile house.
Magic: he has no more talent for magic than the average manthirian and only really dabbled in it enough to mimic forms of body art he had seen on others.

Personality:
Even from a young age Severin's personality has unsettled some and outright frightened others. He can be deeply cutthroat, conniving and self-serving. This isn't to say that he has no loyalty or morals, only that he doesn't let a silly thing like honor get in the way. He is someone for whom bloodlines are little more than leverage.
Despite his sharp tongue and double talk there is something soft and sentimental. Albeit deep deep behind a veneer of playful barbs.

Severin's flaw and strength are his curiosity. He desires to know everything there is to know about anything and anyone.

History:

The House Seigrun had a mixed legacy. While their house currently has dominant reign in the south, they have suffered from scandals and were for a time only a minor nobility.

In the recent past their name had been drug through the mud. Specifically Severin's uncle, the former head made a few terrible mistakes which lost them land and social currency. Because of this his father was made the new head of house.
Only for his father to die whilst traveling.
After his father passed his oldest brother made short work of drinking and squandering what goodwill was left.


Severin's insatiable curiosity started at a young age and quickly led him to one realization. All knowledge was a leverage against which the world could be shaped to his whims. It started with learning to read and devouring his family's library. When there were no more books there he riffled through his older siblings personal collection leaving not even private journals unread. Bored and dissatisfied he took to 'overhearing' his siblings' conversations and his father's business arrangements.


Then as he was entering adolescence he discovered the art of bribery. A little coin or food here, a little secret traded there and he was able to learn just about anything he wanted.
At first this only meant that he was horrifyingly efficient at getting his siblings to do his bidding despite being the youngest. With improvement and a few chance encounters it meant he was able to maneuver some arrangements which greatly improved the standing of their house.

First he managed to have his oldest brother sent off to serve in the royal army.
He arranged for his older sister to be able to marry a man she had been pining after.
Which left the second older brother as head of the household.
However to those with their thumb on the pulse or who know the family personally this is in name only.

The house of Seigrun has become known in some circles as a safe haven.
It is known that as long as useful information can be traded then even the lowest of social pariahs and criminals can receive shelter or favors.

Of course considering their main home is nestled in the second largest city in Manthir receiving an audience to trade information is no easy task.

Severin himself spends most of his time either visiting a small home near the port or visiting the capital.
