Physical Description: Jasper is a fairly tall man standing at 6'2" and weighs roughly 175 pounds. He has dirty blonde, wavy hair that he generally keeps fairly long. While he cuts it on occasion he also tends to pull it up into a bun to keep it out of his face. Jasper has a rugged appearance and tends to keep his facial hair short. His skin is tanned from time in the sun with hazel eyes.

Combat Experience: Jasper was placed in combat and self defense training when he was four years old. This went on for several years until he was twelve and went into military training. While he’s struggled with archery quite a bit he excels in hand to hand combat and sword sword fighting without a shield.
Education: Jasper has had multiple private tutors for the majority of his life. For everything from basic reading and writing to combat, music, dance, and manners. He’s particularly excelled in most of his combat training with and painting. He’s been playing the violin and lute since he was five. He speaks both Mathir fluently and some rough Taknier. He spent eight years studying abroad and traveling to learn more about the culture and politics of other kingdoms before returning home at twenty four.
Personality:
Many people say Jasper is much like his father in terms of his more coarse nature. Though he’s more reserved and reclusive than the Senior Rost. That’s not to say he can’t be outgoing and charming when he needs to be. Simply speaking he’s a more quiet young man who prefers to observe before he acts. Due to the imposed stress, some self imposed, of taking over the kingdom when his father passes Jasper has a tendency to be a workhorse. Throwing himself into study or training more than focusing on his more social aspects. As a child he was a very shy boy and some believe that simply followed him into adulthood.
Among people he’s close to there seems to be some kind of small switch that changes. With close friends and family Jasper becomes more laidback. Even somewhat playful. He can be seen as sarcastic and caring as that cold exterior melts away. With even fewer people he can become fairly affectionate. Though he prefers to show his love through gifts or small acts of service.
Generally speaking Jasper is a very commanding individual. When he speaks people generally listen without the need to raise his voice. He’s a calculating and logical person usually trying to find solutions to every problem, even when a solution isn’t particularly wanted. He likes helping others and dislikes feeling trapped or useless.
History:
From the moment Jasper was born there were a lot of expectations placed on his shoulders. Being the oldest meant he was expected to take over the throne when his father passed away. For the first couple of years of his life however he was a fairly ill child. Not that he was old enough to ever remember. His nannies spent many sleepless nights up with the baby boy trying to ease his pain and making sure he was just breathing.
When he was four years old it seemed whatever affliction he had passed and he was placed in his first combat training classes. Though working with other noble children he was always a quiet and shy boy. Often found hiding behind his mothers or a nannies skirt. It was difficult for him to make friends. There were two children though who managed to break past his shell. One of them was a girl that would one day become his wife. Not that either of them was aware of that for some time.
When he was twelve years old Jasper was sent abroad to further his study and combat training. For the first four years he stayed in one kingdom simply studying then spent the next few years traveling and learning more about cultures, beliefs, laws, languages, and fighting so he could come back a better man. A better king to be.
